Jng File

jng is: Jng is an extension of JPEG Network image file. This extension can be opened by xnview or IrfanView software.

It is a image file that has similar features with Png images. But it states compressed as JPG files. Optionally there may be alpha channels or text about images in the file. These files may be used with XnView or any other current image viewer. There are different options to get these softwares free online.
